Choosing the right module.
How do I choose between a sensing element and a complete module?
Use sensing elements when your team owns the analog front-end, calibration pipeline and enclosure. Use complete modules when you want a calibrated board with a defined digital output and faster equipment integration.
Which output should I request — UART, RS485, I²C, PWM or analog?
UART for single-board IAQ projects; RS485 for HVAC/duct/building automation where distance matters; I²C for small embedded boards; PWM/analog for legacy controllers without serial bandwidth. Tell us your MCU and we'll recommend.
How accurate are the modules out of the box?
Accuracy depends on principle. NDIR CO₂ ships at ±50 ppm or ±5% typical; PM2.5 ±15% vs reference; electrochemical varies by gas. Per-module datasheets are authoritative — we'll send the relevant ones with your shortlist.
Can you supply replacement modules for Sharp / Plantower / Figaro parts?
Yes — we maintain replacement-compatible variants for several Sharp PM2.5, Plantower G-series, Figaro VOC and Shinyei humidity sensors. Send the original part number and we'll confirm pin/protocol compatibility before quoting.
Customization
What we can tune for your program.
Do you support OEM customization (firmware, pinout, enclosure)?
Yes. Once volume and use case are clear, we tune calibration curves, protocol, baud rate, pinout and enclosure to match your control board. Sample iterations are usually 1–2 rounds before pilot.
Is there an NRE charge for customization?
For MOQ ≥ 1,000 pcs, default tuning (protocol, calibration, silkscreen, connector) typically ships without NRE. Custom enclosure tooling or new target gases are quoted per project.
Can I private-label the module?
Yes — silkscreen, packaging, datasheet branding and barcode labels can be customized. Confirm trademark ownership before order.
Commercial
Samples, pricing & lead time.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Standard catalog modules from 100 pcs; customized firmware/hardware variants from 500–1,000 pcs. Evaluation samples are available in single-piece quantities.
How long are samples and bulk lead times?
Samples ship in 3–7 business days from stock. Bulk lead time is 15–30 days depending on configuration and quantity.
How does pricing scale with volume?
Pricing breaks at 1k / 5k / 10k / 50k / 100k+ per year. Long-term framework agreements receive an additional engineering and lifecycle commitment from YYS.
Which certifications do your modules carry?
Modules ship with manufacturer test reports and calibration data. Specific certifications (CE, RoHS, REACH, FCC) are available on request per module.
Where are the modules manufactured?
R&D, calibration and SMT assembly are all completed in our Shenzhen facility. We control sensing-element supply for most gas and humidity lines.
Do you support distributor / reseller programs?
Yes. Family-level distributor agreements available for stable SKU continuity and tiered pricing. Contact sales with your target region and product family scope.
